CST Reservations and Refund Policy (Individual)
(Separate rules apply to groups reserving entire motor coaches or vans.)

Additional rules apply to SEAHAWK EXCURSIONS (see below)

Reservations:
Are generally required 35 days in advance of the 1st day of travel.
NOTE: If space is available within 35 days of travel, reservations will be accepted with payment in full and a waiting list will be established when an excursion is full, in the event of cancellations.

A 25% non-refundable* deposit is required within 3 calendar days (except Sunday or Holidays) with full payment due 35 days prior to 1st day of travel. (Exception, see note above.) Upgrade fee, if any, must be paid with deposit and is non-refundable.

Reservations are automatically cancelled if deposit is not received within 3 days or not paid in full by payment due date. And reservation fee (25% deposit) is forfeited.

Reservations are automatically cancelled if payment is not honored or is returned by financial institution. And reservation fee is forfeited.

In the event a deposit is forfeited it may be reinstated for a $15 service fee per person provided space is available and payment is made in full.

Reservations are valid only for the persons for which they are booked. Photo ID with signature and date of birth is required prior to boarding. Reservations are transferable for a $15 service fee.

 

Reservations secured by credit card: The account will automatically be charged on or about 7 days prior to the 1st day of travel. In the event of cancelation or reservation alteration only the appropriate fee will be charged.

Methods of Payment
Cash, certified check, money order or major credit card. 

American Express, Discover,MasterCard and VISA are acceptable.

Personal checks will be accepted up until 10 days prior to 1st day of travel subject to severe penalty for returned checks.

NOTE: Checks returned NSF, stop payment or account closed are subject to the maximum penalty allowed by law with a minimum of $30. This may be as much as 3 times the face value plus collection fees. Returned checks not remedied within 10 days may be turned over to authorities for collection and/or prosecution.

Refunds:

Generally the *25% reservation fee is non-refundable. However;

For a $15 service fee, reservations are transferable in 3 ways.
• Reservation may be transferred to a different person for the same trip.
  o Reservation must be paid for in full. The person who booked the original reservation must be the person who authorizes the transfer. Will need the name, address, phone number and date of birth for the person or persons, reservation is being transferred to. Transfer fee must be received within 3 days and prior to first date of travel. You collect from the person you are transferring the reservation to.
• Reservation may be transferred for the same person for a different trip.
  o Must be transacted before 30 days prior to the earliest date of travel, subject to availability of seating on alternative trip. Transfer fee must be received within 3 days.
• Reservation may be transferred for a different person for a different trip.
  o Reservation must be paid in full. Must be transacted 30 days prior to the earliest date of travel, subject to availability of seating on alternative trip. The person who booked the original reservation must be the person who authorizes the transfer. Transfer fee must be received within 3 days. You collect from the person you are transferring the reservation to.

Reservations paid in full and cancelled before 35 days prior to the 1st date of travel will be refundable subject to the *25% non-refundable reservation fee. The balance will be refunded within 14 days of cancellation or as provided by RCW 19.138.320.

Reservations paid in full and cancelled on or after 35 days prior to the 1st date of travel will be refunded subject to the designated space being re-sold and subject to the *25% non-refundable reservation fee or as provided by RCW 19.138.320.

Patrons failing to check-in with proper ID at departure location 15 minutes prior to time of scheduled departure forfeit their trip and are not entitled to a refund.

All available seats will be sold before cancelled seats are re-sold. Cancelled seats will be re-sold in the order that they were cancelled.

CST reserves the right to substitute alternative transportation at its discretion. If transportation or other services are cancelled by the seller of travel, all sums paid to the seller of travel for services not performed in accordance with the contract between the seller of travel and the purchaser will be refunded within thirty (30) days of receiving the funds from the vendor(s) with whom the services were arranged, or if the funds were not sent to the vendor(s), the funds shall be returned within fourteen (14) days after cancellation by the seller of travel to the purchaser unless the purchaser requests the seller of travel to apply the money to another travel product and/or date. (RCW 19.138.040)

*In calculating the 25%, amounts are rounded to the nearest dollar. All prices are USD. Foreign funds are not accepted.

 

CST reserves the right to waive service fees at their descretion.

 

CST now uses Pay Pal to process credit card transactions. If any CST policy contradicts Pay Pal policy for conducting business and/or processing credit card transactions, Pay Pal policies shall prevail.

 

 

SEAHAWK EXCURSIONS:

 

Seahawk excursion prices are separated by transportation and tickets.

The transportation portion is subject to the rules above.

The ticket portion must be paid in full or secured by credit card along with your transportation deposit (25%) Balance due 35 days prior to first date of travel.

The ticket portion and 25% of transpotation are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Tickets and reservations secured by credit card will not be charged until 7 days prior to the travel date unless reservation is cancelled and then only the non-refundable portion will be charged.


ALL EXCURSIONS:
Pursuant to RCW 19.138.320; Purchaser’s right to cancel without penalty: You may cancel this contract without any cancellation fee or other penalty, or stated reason for doing so, by sending notice of cancellation by certified mail, return receipt requested, to Columbia Sports Tours at the address indicated below. The notice must be postmarked by midnight of the seventh (7th) calendar day following the day on which this contract is effective or the day conformation of reservation materials are received by you, whichever is later. The date the contract is effective is not included as a “calendar day,” and if the seventh calendar day falls on a Sunday or legal holiday, then the right to cancel this contract expires on the day immediately following that Sunday or legal holiday.
